WV newspaper reporting Fox will not bid on new CUSA TV contract. Could be a case of Fox having first refusal rights, like ESPN did in the last go round. I see that as a lack of interest, or at the very least we are not high on the Fox priority list. Fewer bidders only fuels a lower bid.

Also seems like we didn't actually earn the 14 million we were paid in 2013-14 from TV. Tax reports show we were only paid 10.44 million from our TV partners. With the gap being filled from departed CUSA programs.

Word is FOX did not even bid ( no verification yet).
This would effectually put our TV revenues at $0. ASN would be our primary (only?), but they don't pay anything as of yet.
So, instead of being cut in half, our contract would be exposure only with no money.
Already announced earlier the CBS was not bidding.

I know there have been a number of comments on this, but it made the the front page of the SunHerald this morning. Sorry for Jacquelle but now I'm ok that we didn't sign him. Wonder what makes kids do stuff like this?

Other notable players are for Laurel is Ole Miss TE signee Octavious Cooley. Also the head basketball coach for Laurel played at Southern Miss in the mid 1990's in Marcus Price! Coach Marcus Price is the son of retired South Jones head basketball Coach Casey Price! Casey Price was the first African American scholarship basketball player at Southern Miss in the early 1970's! Lot of USM connections tonite in the Big House! Go Naders!!!

Marshall locked in an epic battle with Brown University. Tied 2-2 headed to the bottom of the 16th inning. Marshall hasn't had a hit since a two-run homerun tied the game in the bottom of the 7th.

So looks like I have some roof damage thanks to this lovely storm. Dealing with several leaks due to what appears to be the vent cap coming off on one section. Anyone have suggestions for a good roofer? I just heard on the radio that MO's enrolment is down over 1,500 students since their (sensitivity) riots of a few months ago...said they will be short millions $$ in revenue as a result. An all around, total PR failure.

There's probably a good lesson for other universities in that .

If they were going to let the coach go after 1 season thay should have done it right after the season was over. He had just hired 4 assistants for 2016. The coach that got fired was only hired a month before the 2015 season started due to another unusual firing right before the 2015 season.

WOW!!

Today, I arranged a change in my parking because I no longer need the handicap parking in lot 10. Emily Dykes helped me and was so helpful in giving me information about my options. She made that experience a pleasure.

Then there was Chris Adams in ticket sales. I recognized his voice and remembered how hard he works for Southern Miss. He guided me through the seating chart and helped me move from EE to E next to some of my best friends. That also was a very enjoyable experience. He "sold" me on a block of military tickets and, arranged for me to have padded chairback seats installed for me. I'm pumped. Chris Adams for president!!!

Positive things are breaking our over there. Brian Morrison has had a positive effect. Now lets dominate!!

Sophomore right-hander Josh Green(0-0, 0.00) earns the first start of his career,
while the Golden Eagles will counter with left-hander Stevie Powers (0-0, 3.00).

I don't know how many of y'all have watched some games this year but for those that have do y' all this as our biggest problem. I think if it isn't fixed soon it will lose us a series.
