Looks like Wilcke has a family issues and is not with the team and no one knows when he will be back according to Hall. Crawford is #3 now. I won't speculate what happened but will be suprised if he is ever returns. Let's just hope and pray all is OK.

With the recent injury to Cooley on the DL, it gives an opportunity for another to step up. A guy to watch is R Fr Iliyas Fuavi. He is playing the boundary DL/DE position at 6'3 270 lbs. Coach Hall compares him to a Kristin Booth type of player. With a family lineage of The Rock, Roman Reins, The Uso Brothers, Rikishi, and many others, athletes and good football players are in his blood. He has not lost any speed or agility while gaining the weight. A classic example of buying in to being redshirted and taking that year to work at growth and getting better. This DL is extremely deep, can't remember in recent memory USM having this much size and depth.

Southern Miss took the field on a very typical 75-degree August morning on Wednesday for the 12th practice of fall camp. It was a shell day in preparation for Saturday’s practice which is the annual Golden Eagle fan fest....

Kid is extremely accurate with a really good arm and quick release. He only threw for 330 yards and a TD......

Southern Miss completed day nine of fall camp on Saturday in the blistering heat on an important day in the camp. Southern Miss went full 11 on 11 scrimmage style practice for about 100 minutes of the extended practice.....

What is it and how do i know if I have it.

Like I said on Monday, the day after a break is always slow, and today was the same. Even Will Hall acknowledged that today was not the day the team envisioned coming onto the practice field.......

Southern Miss has completed the first week of fall camp and has a day of rest tomorrow on Thursday before a slow day on Friday and scrimmaging on Saturday....

Coach Hall said he popped his achilles amd will be out for the season and will redshirt. Mahaffey will move back to DL. Cooley is such a beast down inside, but there is depth at DL.
