NOTE CHANGE IN ROOM LOCATION

Please join us for our next Central Mississippi Eagle Club luncheon, Thursday, August 24th from 11:30 am-1:00 pm.

The featured speaker will be Southern Miss Athletic Director, Jeremy McClain.



The luncheon and presentation will be held at the Hilton Jackson located at 1001 East County Line Road in BALLROOM C on the South Side of the Hilton (use parking lot facing I55) The meal will be $20 and consist of an all inclusive buffet.



Future Central Mississippi Eagle Club meetings are tentatively scheduled for:

We will update with speakers when information is available. Hopefully having this schedule will allow you to set your calendar so you can make as many meetings as possible.

Please note, you do not have to be an Eagle Club member to attend these luncheons. We welcome all alumni, fans and friends of the program.

Was there a practice today?

I have seen some preseason predictions that have them around 3 or 4 in the West and Ole Miss towards the bottom. Is State really supposed to be that good this year? I know they won 9 games last year but the West was down with A&M, Arkansas and Auburn struggling and Ole Miss was limping to the finish line when they played them at the end of the season. Just curious what everyone is seeing since we play them this year.

Southern Miss closed fall camp on Saturday after the team’s second scrimmage of the camp. The scrimmage saw about 100 minutes of eleven-on-eleven football and while many questions were answered, some remain. The team practiced in front of about 250-300 fans as a part of the annual Golden Eagle fan fest....

The last practice of Fall Camp will take place Staurday at 9:30 with Fanfest happening at 10:45 in the Touchdown Terrace.

Fans can meet players after practice on the field.

From someone whom I trust their opinion:

1. Defense won the day overall.

2. They felt that Wiles won the starting job. Not a great day from either QB, but Wiles looks like the better QB. We shall see what Hall says after filn study.

Be the man about town. GET ALL THE GIRLS, steal all the attention (and stats).

With today's technology, watching a good practice spy's videos would be like watching the game live on TV. Just think about it, there are plenty of locations where a good spy could position himself to bring it all to life. Coach Hall does a good job keeping us on top of things 🤣, but we really need that inside perspective. I want to know who has the best stats, who has the crispest throws, who has the accuracy, weak points, strong points, who can run, who can't, who can really throw that pig around the field? Is the man for the job getting the attention he deserves? Do we have the next Brett Favre walking the grounds of Roberts Stadium?

Be sure YOU get all the attention YOU deserve. James Bond can't hold a candle to, "THE PRACTICE SPY."

So what's the inside scoop, TIGER (or EAGLE as it may be)? We are all waiting for your first story. ALL of us waiting...impatiently. So get out there bub. Show 'em how it's done. Major networks need YOU.

Southern Miss football prepped for their big Saturday scrimmage this morning as Friday was playing as the players stretched. The spirit was high in the shorter practice where there was very little to no contact, obviously trying to get to tomorrow with no more injuries.....

Is he a GOOD'UN ??? Can he chunk it???

This was a scheduled off day. They will return to the practice fields tomorrow and Fall Camp will conclude with the scrimmage Saturday.

Hall said today he is out for the year. They will work on redshirting him this season so he can come back next year. Hall didn't say anything about his medical issue and said that is left up to Habas to release that info.
