USM softball goes 4-0 and beats JSU, UAPB, Morehead ST, and UCA this weekend.

Home game Tuesday against McNeese ST a very good softball program and Wednesday a DH against Alcorn State.

Eagles took a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the 2nd. Best then gives up 2 hits and 2 walks and UCA ties the game 3-3 in the 3rd. 2nd start in a row that Best is really only good for 2 innings. He as got to pitch longer in the game if he wants to stay the Sunday starter. He, at this point in his career, might be a better arm out of the bullpen than starting.

Well bonus play is upon us. This is a must win for the Golden Eagles....

Getting things caught up now that I am back at 100% Signing list is up to date, recruits who have not signed but have a verbal commit are Blue Shirts. Let's see if the Golden Eagles can continue this winning streak. UNO beat the Eagles last season at The Pete 2-1.

After opening the season with a 3 game sweep of Murray State, the Golden Eagles welcomed the Privateers of UNO to Pete Taylor Park for a midweek match up Tuesday night. It took some Pete Taylor Park Magic for the Eagles to come from behind in the bottom of the 9th inning to secure their fourth win in as many tries this season.
