The formerly undefeated Marshall (7-1) Thundering Herd got dismantled by Rice (2-2) by the score of 20-0 today.

Ouch! No more top 25 for Marshall or C-USA.

interesting that prior to this game, Rice had only played 3 games this season. We were their only win (30-6) coming into today. Their losses were MTSU and UNT.

So since the board is a little slow tonight here is a question: (I know I’m looking back so if you think this is stupid just ignore the question.)

When did you lose faith in Hopson as our HBC? I guess I’m a slow learner but for me it was at Starkville when he made no real effort to win the game. IMO we had a chance that day and chose instead to try and keep it close.

The Louisanna long snapper centered the ball over the punter's head 3 times. Some were at least 10 yards over his head. Never seen that in 68 years of watching football.
