If we are expecting to have someone named as soon as regular season is over which is next weekend, I assume we would most likely have it narrowed down to a top 3 by now. Any idea who those guys may be? Wasn’t that the whole point in firing Hall midseason?

what is the reason for staying with Crawford. He is not the QB, yet nothing has changed since will hall firing. He completed 5-18, 70 yards, three interceptions, and 28% and yet according to stats he is the only one to QB. Rushing 10 rushing attempts for minus 21 yards. And people said he should QB because of his legs and was a good runner, LOL. Same players, same coaches minus WH and same results. Hope new coach cleans house with players and coaches or we will have the same results. And these stats are off the Southern miss official stats.

After firing their head football coach, they have gone 3 - 0 to and clinched bowl eligibility. If they keep their interim coach it means less competition for Southern Miss to hire from the same pool of coaches.

baseball updates?

I actually think these are good moves by Stringer:

Jack Walker will now be calling plays
Gregg was moved to coaching the TE position.
Ben Thomas is now coaching the OL.

Trey Lowe, Jake Lange, and Frank Gore Jr were already on the team when Coach Hall arrived. Transfer portal and signees at the QB position while Coach Hall was in charge were Tee Webb, Ty Keys, Zach Wilcke, Holman Edwards, Billy Wiles, Tate Rodemaker, Ethan Crawford, and John White. The jury is still out for John White as he has not played enough yet to be judged a success or a failure in recruiting. Of the rest of the QBs brought in by Coach Hall I would have to say Billy Wiles was the most productive.
