After all the injuries we saw in the game, I was concerned that some might be serious enough to be season ending. The following quote from the article linked below by Jason Munz makes me feel a lot better.

which is that Chip has turned down EKU, and maybe even ULM, according to press reports. I realize EKU has a good program and a university a wee bit larger than ours. But they are the fourth option in a football poor state, after UL UK, and WKU. They compete in a lower division, and other than being HC, why would he go there? There is no money there. I betcha the AD ponied up for him to stay here. Plus there are much better OC jobs open above us, and I think he might be the heir apparent here if Todd leaves next year. Anyway, I am glad he is staying, if he indeed is staying.

Pittsburg Steelers wide receiver Markus Wheaton who is doing quite well tonight, is the brother of Marquise Wheaton who was a defensive back in the 2011 Championship Team.

The Mavs play the Bulls at home that Saturday night after our bowl game if interested. I have a friend that works for the Mavs and trying to potentially line up something that night and go.
