I know this won't be a popular statement

But, here goes anyways.

This Southern Miss men's basketball team is much improved over the past two games. They picked up a nice 74-62 win over North Dakota State today after playing lights out before falling to Alabama a couple of nights ago.

I don't know how this will translate for the rest of the season but its easy to see that the team and players are improving.

WOW, We are going to ***The Cotton Bowl*** to play The Washington Huskies

People this is a huge game for us. If I remember correctly, Washington was on some lists for consideration for a national Championship this year. It didn't turn out that way, but Washington is a good football team.

They lost to Boise by 3.

They lost to Cal 30-24.

They beat USC at their house 17-12.

The game I remember : They lost to Oregon 26-20. The Ducks came back late if I remember.

They lost to Utah 34-23.

THEY BEAT OREGON STATE 52-7

They beat Washington State 45-10.

I hope we have enough time to heal before the game.

GO EAGLES!!!!!!!

Is it just me or is....

...Nick Mullens slow....like real slow....slower than slow. Seriously though, he's had a GREAT year. Hard to be upset with his play overall. I do think however the numbers he's put up are partly a result of the system. Today he struggled. I do hope that they allow real competition for the QB spot next year and don't just default in to Nick. If Nick had the legs to extend plays or be a real threat to run I think we'd won several more this year.

For Senior...

If you find out how to edit the post subject, I'd like to know. Happened to me about a week ago. I never got it figured out.
If the board would allow me to post an image/screenshot, I would show you. But since it won't, here's a brief description. This works if you are on a computer - not sure about it if you're using your phone via the mobile site.

You can only edit a title on a thread you create. Here's how:

1. Open the thread
2. Look across the screen to the right
3. Look for the gold button titled "Post New Thread".
4. Now look just left of that button to a link titled, "Unwatch Thread".
5. Now look just left of that link to a little wrench icon with a drop down arrow beside it.
6. Click on the wrench icon - revealing a "Thread Tools" menu.
7. The first option in that menu is "Edit Title"
