Hey guys,
I've developed a concept for the future of our North End Zone and a way to enclose the stadium. One thing that is an obstacle is that there is not really the radial room to "bowl in" that side with the seating at a decent angle. So here is a concept I developed for the North End Zone, and I am looking for some feedback on the feasibility of the design. As an architecture student at USM, you'll be helping me and that will extend on into our program as a learning experience for me I can share.
The design includes:
- 5-7,000 bleacher seats with backs
- 4 large field-level suites
- Tunnel extending from athletic center/locker room to field
- Eagle statue and other monuments in NEZ will remain and be enclosed by the building
Opportunity costs:
- Loss of field view from athletic center / M club
Please provide your feedback if you have the chance. It'll help me develop my concept further and help with my education.
