Texas Longhorns.....

...currently have a Recruiting Class ranked at #43.....that's not Texas State, folks, that's UT, Texas Longhorns in Austin, TX......I really like Charlie Strong...he is the kind of man one wants his kid to play football for....that said, depending on how they finish on NSD, I am afraid that he will be the biggest Coaching Casualty in 2016, Power5.....so, who do they call first with a bucket of Oil Money?

-Who will they call? Tom Hermann at Houston
-Who should they call? one Hugh Freeze...I am not saying this because of where he coaches or where he went to School (TTT), but the man has proven that he can invoke excitement and hope in a fan base...oh, and he can flat out recruit....

FWIW....

Some here need to set their personal agenda aside

There are some folks here who have an obvious narrative that they are dead set on pushing right now. That narrative is that no matter what happens with recruiting it's Hopson's fault because he isn't doing the things that "you" want him to do.

There was always going to be kids drop off this class because Monken over committed. We're seeing that happen now very much like it would have before, the only difference is now that you have a coach that you can attack for it.

Coaches don't have the ability to contact an recruit (legally right now) and they're limited on what they can do...

But, at least try to take a break for the next 18 hrs an start trashing the current coaches.

Great day for the Eagles!!

I have been in the football business for 30 years. I have seen a lot of signing days come and go. All of them had their share of drama no matter what school you root for. This is a solid class. Some may flip and some have flipped to us (no one seems to mind those) There are some potentially great players that have committed to being here through some tough times. Let's go to work with these guys and do something special. If they choose somewhere else, good luck! It's all about the right fit.

Things like this are not supposed to happen, maybe ot

WE have been told for decades what limiations go with attending southern miss.

We have talked lately about kids we know at UMC in med school, dental school and pharmacy schools.

A very sweet young girl has worked part time with us for a couple of years, Graduated from USM in december in micro biology. Dates a young man from Petal i wanted on our baseball team. He is now playing at Carey.

Not knowing what her limitations were she applied, got an interview and was accepted today in the School of veterinary medicine at Mississippi State.

Our kids can be anything they want to be.
