It is difficult to fathom that on April 22, Southern Miss fell to 22-15 after a 20-7 drubbing administered by Coastal Carolina at Conway, S.C. The Eagles came back to defeat Coastal the next day to begin the hot steak they continued Sunday. From 22-15 to 41-17 is no easy feat and similar to what Ole Miss did a year ago when it went from 22-17 to a national championship

I have seen a lot of forecasts that have 7 SEC schools hosting. I would think Southern Miss should host before a #7 SEC school.

I didn't do my yearly "Rock Pile" post this year in which I have tried to stress teaching yourself to watch the ball. Interestingly, it seemed nobody listened regardless of the importance. So this year I said, "If those guys don't want to know, then forget 'em!" However, I believe it has caused unnecessary suffering, so if The Lord's will has me around another year "Rock Batters" will return with a vengeance. LOL

This is what we need to see with every pitch. Not just a look in the direction of the ball but really seeing it. When it happens we get to hear that beloved ding of the bat. KEEP YOUR EYES GLUED TO IT ALL THE WAY.
