Well, wait no longer. I am starting with football. There are secondary defenders on the bench, so why do we move receivers to the positions? Are they just horrible, or is there some other reason they are not starting? Maybe Nasty can answer that. I really don't know. We still do not have a QB over halfway through the season. This past week, we were fortunate we did not give up at least 3 or 4 interceptions. Hall has not explored the possibility that Edwards might do a better job. He seemed torn between the two in the preseasons, but trying both was never an option. Pure and simple, we don't know how to win, and a hard look at talented players in the off-season will be a must.
Now Basketball. I know, I know, it was just an exhibition game but gee wiz. The shooting was worse than the games two years ago. Remember the "Shock Troops?" That team that could beat no one would have won Saturday. IMO, Hart, who was not very good last year, was arguably the best player we had in that game. How did they miss that many field goals? I will say the pitiful performance may have been due to nerves. Without Alveraz and, apparently, Curbelo, it may be a long season.
I haven't given my basketball predictions this year, but they will come soon. I have been waiting to see the status of Curbelo.
