***Disclaimer...take it with a grain of salt.*** It won't affect us first hand, but I am hearing a new Power 5 conference is "trying" to be created behind the scenes. Some teams I am hearing is Miami, Florida State, USC (Southern Cal), Notre Dame, and possibly Clemson (pretty sure there are more teams). My source is someone who is tied into Florida State pretty good; Not just your average by season tickets fan. They will be announcing their own network in a couple of weeks (modeling after Texas).

I was told this new conference is going to span from West Coast to East Coast, and one of the requirements is for them to create their own network (or have a network in ND case)... Again for the who told me, and some of the details that he provided , makes me think there is something brewing. FSU getting left out behind the "SEC push" did not sit well and they are trying to "re-position" so they will not get messed over again.

Again, this is just a "strong " rumor I have heard.

According to Ladner, will return next season.

Why is it when a coach has one good season the AD rushed to extend and give a raise. Especially when that coach has never had a winning season before. Why doesn't the AD just say one year ext and let us see if you can do it two years in a row, and then we will look into extension. Our AD JM must and should be held accountable for extending and giving JLadner a raise and extension. We are a horrible team this year and JM should be fired for giving him another chance. Les Miles won the National championship and was fired two years later and Ladner hasn't come close to winning a NC and never will. Quit wanting to hire one of our own and just hire the best man we can get for the money we have to give him.

What we came to enjoy as the post-season play is dead. Some may say there were too many Bowl Games, but I always contended I would never turn down any football game. Today, it is dead.

The Heisman Trophy winner (Sportsmanship Award) showed the award is meaningless by opting out. Yeah, I know they have to consider the possibility of getting hurt, but that is my point. It is true of many others who opt out as well.

While others declare for the NFL and are therefore disqualified, some announce they are transferring. Whatever the reason, teams are without most of their best players. So, determining the better team is impossible. No more fun and certainly less interest in the bowls.

No wonder they got blasted.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to update the game every time-out as I usually do because my family is having our Christmas event today.
