Last night's men's Game Troy

I didn't get home until about 8 minutes left in the game. I could not believe the score. I watched the Clankers for about 4 Mins, saw what was wrong, and turned it off.

You can say what you want, but the heart and soul of this team is HART. He can rebound, shoot, guard, and make free throws. Without him, this team will surely become the clankers. Crowley was trying too hard and had lost his touch. He is playing wild.

Curbelo plays when he wants to play. Here is a guy who said his back is hurt, yet the other night, he was out at mid-court bending down and wiping sweat from the floor with a towel. he is a showboat, and it seems he only plays when there is a large crowd.

If Hart can make it back to the lineup, we can win some games. In the last part of the season, we play teams we can beat.

Men’s Basketball Last Night-From an ugly duckling to a Swan.

I’ve been following USM men’s basketball since 1962 and have never seen an uglier (as Heath adequately described it) first half in all those years. A lot was bad luck, and the other half was a spectacle of piss-poor playing. I counted 4 missed dunks. One thing I have never seen before. On one of our shots, the ball went below the rim, and the net popped the ball out.

Several players were outstanding, Hart, with 14 rebounds. Ivory with some clutch 3s and Izay. - Tegra Izay finished with a career-high five blocks and became the first Golden Eagle to reach the mark since Isaih Moore had six during the 2021-22 season - Southern Miss' 10 blocks were the most since it recorded 10 against Dillard on Dec. 23, 2009.

Hart went out with what appeared to be an ankle injury. Curbelo went out of the game for what seemed to be an injury or an illness. It didn’t stop him from wiping sweat from the mid-court floor with a towel. A mystery? It was a goofy game, but we came away with a road win.

Southern Miss football signing day news...

M-Braves

Kinda surprised there haven’t been any threads on here about the Mississippi Braves announcing they are leaving Trustmark Park after the 2024 season and moving to Columbus, Ga. Any thoughts on whether they’ll try to get USM, Ole Miss and Miss State to play more of their games at Trustmark in 2025 and beyond to try and fill the stadium for now

Good Current Information

I wanted to share some information that is important for everyone to know if you are a SM fan. The Southern Miss Athletic Foundation raised the most money in its history in fiscal year 2023. Eagle Club donations were also higher. Season tickets for football increased in 23 over 22. We sold over 11 thousand tickets. Basketball season tickets sales have greatly increased. Renovations at RGC are on track and will be very nice. We had the best football recruiting class in SBC. We have a revamped football coaching staff. We have a renewed QB room in football. Spring is coming with a new baseball season. And I love our new President. Our NIL collective is purring and is hungry for new members. Get on board. Happy new year!

I have a new short-yardage goal-line play.

We often have trouble getting the ball in the endzone on short-yardage situations, so I have a new play for Hall.

4th and goal from the 3-yard line:

In the backfield position, J.Q, Gray with Carruth, Welch, and Ryals. The latter three are all 6'7", and J.Q is 5'8". The direct snap goes to J.Q. He then steps into the grasp of Welck, Carruth, and Ryals, and they throw him over the goal line.

I know what you are thinking wer4, so don't say it.
