It is a partial preview as it discusses the new signees and seniors from last season that have an option to return. There are a few surprises.

Ladner:
Johnson is getting better. Will still come off the bench until he gets a little more consistency. He is finally getting to where we thought he could be.
The starting lineup is under constant evaluation. There are certain groups that are playing better. Only 8 games to play, everything is under evaluation.
Pinkney had some tough breaks last game, some questionable calls, he will bounce back.
We worked on getting Draine the ball early in the offensive set up. Transition and offensive rebounds.
We want to play meaningful games in February. We have 4 series left and we can still make some goals we set. We need Draine to step his game up as our only Senior with a lot of playing time (Weatherspoon other).

Stevenson:
I just have to continue to push my teammates in practice to get better.
I had to just stop thinking and play that is why I have been better late.
I've been staying after practice, to work on FT shooting and it has gotten better.
I am a lead by example guy. I let my play on the court do the talking for me.

He is being mentioned by some as an AD candidate at Tennessee. He is currently at ECU.

They had AD JM on their show yesterday. Very good interview. Check it out on their podcast.

There will be no single game ticket sales early in the season. That may change as the season progresses.

There is a waiting list for season tickets. All available season tickets have been sold.


Roost and Suites will not change. The rules to those are the same as previous seasons.

Look for this young man to possible be an Eagle by next week. There is nothing official, but all signs are pointing that USM is high on his list. USM is showing a lot of interest in this young man.

As I will be at the USM MBB game at LA Tech. So many of you all have been supportive of me through calls, messages, and prayers. This is a huge step for me. Thanks for everyone's support.

There are 4 returning players that started a lot of games; Jay Malone, Ladavius Drain, Tyler Stevenson, and Artur Konostsuk. Three highly regarded JC transfers should push for immediate playing time; Deandre Pickney, Tae Hardy, and Justin Johnson. Will Javarzia Belton redshirt or play at center right away? What about the other returning players like Angel Smith or the forwards that redshirted in 2019-2020, Denijay Harris and Isaiah Jones? True freshman rarely start right away but will 2020-2021 be the year for Mark Jaakson or Jaron Pierre?
