Would you rather be a NCAA Regional host site with 1. USM 2. Ole Miss/FSU 3. South Alabama/Fairfield 4. Jackson State/New Orleans. Or would you rather be a 2 seed at East Carolina or Pittsburg with much easier opponents? With schools like 3. Liberty/Arizona State 4. Wright State/Virginia Commonwealth?

If the Eagles end up hosting, that is what will probably happen. What would you all prefer?

Southern Miss got into the night bracket which is good as long as there are no rain delays. I remember a tournament a few years ago when Southern Miss started games after 10:00 PM.

UNC Wilmington (RPI 67) just beat Charlotte 6-2 in game 1 of 3 game series.

Just spoke with the LA Tech ticket office. They will be at 100% capacity for the tournament. If you want tickets, you better call asap to get them because at the rate they are selling, "they will sell all tickets."

After being named to the top 20 potential host sites on May 14, Southern Miss dropped games 1 and 4 in the final regular season conference series against a resurgent Florida Atlantic. Some Golden Eagle faithful have stated that this objectively removed USM from the hosting conversation.

And former HHS player Jaren Handy has entered transfer portal at Auburn. 4 star, top 100 national recruit. Played a pretty good bit (and well) as a true freshman 2 years ago. Played less this last season. With the covid rule and the new transfer rule, I honestly can’t figure out how much eligibility he has left lol. 3 to play 3? 4 to play 3 since last year didn’t count? 4 for 4 since last year didn’t count? Don’t know. At least 3 for 3. Will probably end up at another P5 school, but couldn’t hurt for Coach Hall to pick up the phone.

So regionals and super regionals will be filled based on state regs.

Seems he may actually stay, it is between another school and USM.... so we shall see...
