Last time that happened was Sadler's last season where they went 20-13, 11-7 and went to the CBI. This group is 20-4, 9-2. What a turnaround!!! This team is special.

A few have reached out to me asking why Rivals only has 21 signees from JUCO and HS while others sites have 22. The reason is that the other sites are listing Conner Gibbs as a signee and Rivals doesn't because he is not on scholarship. I called USM to make sure that they only have 29 official scholarship signees for this class. Just wanted to let you know why numbers may be different.

I am being told contract negotiations are underway.

Something to note is that on February 9th there will be a rare event, a basketball double header. The women's team plays Texas State at 5 pm and the men's team plays Louisiana at 7:30 pm.
Both teams are doing well this season. The women's team is tied for second place and the men's team is tied for first place.
It is the next home game for the men's team. The women's team starts a four game home stand this week.
Edit: Also a double header on February 11th. Women's team at noon vs Coastal Carolina and the men's team at 2:30 pm vs ULM.

There just isn't a lot known about these young men who are committing late. Looks like they aren't going to get some portal transfers they were going after and using those schollys now.
