Hoops Scholarship Answers

Ok guys

I talk with Doc briefly last night, not enough for a story or anything but here's what he tells me.

With Carey and Holland returning they will have 11 returning scholarship players. At this point he does not intend to bring an an additional scholarship player so this year the Eagles will be -1 scholarship.

The plan is to have -1 this year, -2 next year and -1 the third year.

Now that isn't set in stone, according to Doc if he found a "dog" that he thinks can really go and help get things turned around faster that he would adjust and go 0 this year, -2 next and -2 the third.

He feels good about fielding a full 15 man roster despite the scholarship reductions.

Fantastic atmosphere at the softball complex tonight

against Alabama. Over 1100 in attendance. We lost 7-1 but what a fun time. Cars had to park everywhere. Several had to be towed out of the mud. The left field deck was packed with Diamond Club members. Cough up a hundred bucks and come enjoy the fun and one and see a future world series participant.
