This will be the last game Scott Berry coaches at The Pete. I make no secret about my admiration of Scott Berry. I may have shared before, but when I lost my leg a few years ago, somehow Scott got my mom's cell number. He would call everyday, and not only check on me, but would ask how she was doing and if she needed anything. Once I got where I could start talking and getting adjusted, I looked at my phone, and every day there were text from him and other coaches. He still to this day, when we chat, always ask how me and my mom are doing. Mom get real sick amd we almost lost her and who was calling to check? Scott and other coaches. You may not always agree with his coaching choices, and I have questioned some, but you can't question his character. There aren't many HC like him, and we need too be thankful he was at Southern Miss. It may be his last game at The Pete, but his signature and imprint will be on this baseball program for years and years to come.
Now, let's get this team to Omaha!!!
