Looks like he won't be ready by tonight because he is not dressing, which may not be a good sign. Been told it is a lingering injury.

May 2023 be even better for Southern Miss Athletics than 2022 was.

Southern Miss had to earn every bit of a win Thursday night.

Brady Allen,Purdue 4* QB is entering the Portal due to head coach leaving to go to Lousiville. He was Mr Indiana, he was to be the starter until Head coach Brohm left. He is 6' 5" 220 pounds. do you think we would have any interest in him. He was a true freshman and only played in one game this year.

I have watched almost every bowl game this season. I have one question! Why in the hell does every team except the Golden Eagles have a QB. Sitting here watching ECU and the second coming on Jared Lerenzen (RIP) running all over CCU. Don’t give me the crap about athletic ability. Just find someone to run a creative offense. CWH I hope you are watching creative play calling.

I researched the question about where NIL valuation $ estimates come from. If is my understanding that it is based on the number of followers has on Tiqtoc, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc. For instance Arch Manning has an NIL valuation at over $1M. Apparently the highest NIL valuation so far is LSU Gymnast Livvy Dunne who has a value of $1.5M. She is supposedly a “generational talent” in gymnastics plus she is very easy on the eyes. Question is do any of our athletes have a social media site they are being paid to post. They estimate Arch Manning gets $31k for each post he makes on YouTube tiqtoc or instagram.

Will James. Thought this was probable after I read he was a standout in All Star game practices.

Great win by USM last night. Proud of our team. I couldn't help but be impressed by USA's facilities. The stadium has well thought out layout, reasonable number of seats, and video screen that's sharper than my oled at home. Their covered practice structure also impressive. They have put more $$$ in construction in 10 years than we've put in for 50 yrs. Our fans ask how our program has regressed and programs that didn't exist until 13 ago have pulled even or passed us? Pretty easy to see after last night. Money always the answer and something USM has never had much of.

I would like to say "Thank You" to all of you for another fun year of Southern Miss Athletics. We have seen a baseball team who hosted a Super Regional, a football team who went bowling and won to finish 7-6, and MBB is 11-2 headed into conference play. WBB is playing better, soccer is rebuilding, softball made changes that were needed, and I expect WBB to do very well in the SBC. Not to mention T&F is outstanding as always.

On a more personal note, I hope and pray everyone has a wonderful holiday season filled with happiness, food, friends, and family. God bless all of you!!!!!
