There is a lot of hipe over things the coaching staff did over the off week but the reality is where they are on the learning curve it is very hard to move the needle. They had 3 groups before going over film and the rolled everyone togather which sounds like you are doing something but the film showed the same thing regulates of who was in the room. You don't get extra time so when you bring them in as one group you have less individual time. If you have guys forgetting to mind their gaps at the snap after 7 games you are not going instill that discipline with a week off. Spring and fall is for mixing instincts with position responsibility. They will go from being a wild cowboys to being mechnical on their reads which will not yeild better results. Just try thing about your golf swing while you are swinging during a round. JMO but if youve got guys mid season that can remember instinctually to cover their gap the only fix is to sit em and play the next guy. If no one is minding the gap and everyone is a cowboy then that is a coaching thing that has to be fixed in the spring. Again JMO but as Drnnis Green would say "they are who we thought they are"
