Instead of just assuming that State and Ole Miss are the best baseball programs in the state, why not have a weekend tournament at Trustmark and see who actually deserves the trophy. Take JSU, Alcorn and Valley and USM, OM & State and have them play it out. A 3 day double elemination tournament Friday-Sunday and go from there. Just a thought. I heard Ross Bjork met Mcgillis in Magee with the Governor's Cup and handed it over. It resides in Hattiesburg this morning.
