This idea is really getting traction. I would love for Southern to play basketball(when the program recovers) against UConn, return to the Battle of the Bell, the Black and Blue series, etc. I also want to say that the AAC has a TV contract with ESPN. UH last two regular season games were on ABC, so winning a lot of games comes with greater rewards.
USM needs to get back on ESPN. Also need a new basketball stadium. But playing Uconn would def be nice even in the yurt
Like ESPN or not, Golden is spot on. I also believe that McG will make the Coliseum renovation a reality, if for no other reason than for an AAC invite. The Coliseum renovation is non negotiable...
Wow this is encouraging. We need for this to happen. We're slowly dying by staying in CUSA. Know some posters call it a lateral move. AAC has great basketball and we'll have our old rivalries back. Reed Green does need drastic improvements, look the same since I was a kid and that was a long time ago.
