We had our chance in the 8 th to do some good but come up short with OP

Ya' know, I used to scream about playing to win in these games, and almost invariably what I got was, "These games aren't important." I guess that somehow they have become important now that Berry is kind of on the hot seat. It's very hard to have everything our way. I hope Hopson gets the job done, and I hope Berry gets it done this year. As we should have learned by now, changing your coach is a little different than changing your underwear.

We will miss Braley, but we still have a lot of talent out there.

Come on Eagles !!!!!!!

Questions for Bill McGillis

Friends

I am going to have Director of Athletics Bill McGillis on Sports Drive this afternoon at 5 PM. I want to give ya'll the chance to submit questions.

I probably won't be able to get to them all (and I am certain at least one won't be appropriate) but if you want me to ask him anything post it in this thread:

How to make C-USA better

It's slow around this time dealing with football/realignment news so I figured I'll kick off a question. Before I start, yes, I'll rather be in the AAC and restore many of our former rivalries. I understand that the money may not be much better but our current C-USA money now is based off the teams that left. How bad will it be in renegotiations? I have no clue. Media perception is better. If I were to base the pecking order of the G5 school based off ranking throughout the season it would be: AAC, MWC, MAC, C-USA, Sunbelt. It's unfortunate for us but it is what it is.

There's a chance the B12 doesn't expand or that the AAC doesn't ask us to come. So now the question, what can we do as a conference to build ourselves up? What's stopping C-USA from being the best G5 conference? Our top teams are LA Tech, WKU, USM, and Marshall. How can we get on equal footing or surpass the AAC and MWC? I noticed that those 2 conferences have a military academy in them. Would it help to bring Army back in to the conference? I'm just throwing ideas out to see if C-USA is our home, what are the next steps to making sure it's built as strong as possible.
