Well, it is the last regular season home game of the season. This will be the last regular season home game for 18 seniors. Eagles must win today to keep their chances of playing in the CUSA Champ Game alive, and also maybe an opportunity to host the Champ Game at The Rock. Here is to a 4th win in a row and #SMTTT

We got beat on defense offense coaching and officiating. Next week aint looking good. But I'll be there. SMTTT

which is difficult for all of us, including me. It really might be time for Hop to go. Not because he is a bad guy or we lose sometimes. It’s much more than that.

1. Eagle Walk he looks like he would rather be at the dentist. I would engage the crowd the way Fedora did and make everyone know that he appreciates them.

2. not showing any fire when calls are questionable. The last time I saw Hop fight for his players and university was the poor officiating at TN.

3. odd play calling in the Red Zone for 4 years now. It’s like we as team for 4 years have tightened up in the red zone and gone extremely vanilla over and over.

4. defensive schemes. This QB today was ok not great. He looked great today because the time we gave him because of the formations & philosophy. No one can argue that tonight was an isolated game. It’s been like this for 4 years and good teams will expose us every time.

I still love my University & there is no better place I would rather spend my Saturdays. Oh, the band killed the halftime show too!!

Frank Gore Jr will be in attendance tomorrow. Yes this is the son of Frank Gore NFL running back. He has committed to FAU, but is still visiting Southern Miss and he is really interested in Southern Miss. A nice crowd tomorrow and atmosphere that was like UNT game could go a long way into getting him to here. Remember, FAU attendance and atmosphere is suspect, even with the new stadium. Also JUCO DB Cam White DB NWCC is coming in. Coaches are really high on his guy and believe he could be the next Picasso and DQ Thomas for the Eagles. With only 7 or 8 schollys open, these 2 would be great gets for Southern Miss.

With a max of 4 games left (counting a potential championship game) in the season we know anyone who has not played will be retaining a year of eligibility. Meanwhile players like Tate and Mosely are close to gaining redshirts but have not yet due to the number of games they have already played. Do we have a list anywhere of who has been successfully redshirted and how many games the others can appear in before losing their extra year? I am confident Mosely needs to sit for 2 more, and I think Tate redshirts if he does not appear this week, but not sure about the rest of the guys who have played sparingly.

The Golden Eagles are finishing up preparation for their last home game of the 2019 season. The Eagles are looking to stay unbeaten at home this season, and in doing so, keep chances alive of playing for the CUSA Championship. The Eagles will need a little help from rival UAB to defeat La Tech and they must also take care of buisness and win the last 2 games of the season. How has practice went? Let's take a look.
