Please pray for my ballgame buddy (grandson) Sean

Since my wife died of COVID in January of this year I am not sure how much I have posted about my grandson’s illness. It is Mycobacterium kansasii. Very serious, apparently treatable but incurable. He was rushed the hospital last week with a collapsed lung but we were encouraged when they were able to reinflate the lung but it collapsed again today. They are planning to meet with surgeons Tuesday or Wednesday to discuss surgery. When this started his weight went down to 98 lbs he is 6’3”. His latest weight is 117. Please pray

I Read An Interesting....

.....article the other day about unintended consequences. When the powers to be moved to an early signing period, they ushered in the era of coaches changing jobs before playoffs and bowl games. Hiring schools don't want to wait for the season to end because of the December signing period. Coaches leave their teams high and dry. Luke Fickell, of Cincinnati, should have gotten one of the plumb jobs but didn't because of timing.

Update....

Thanks to everyone for their continued support and prayers. This has been a challenging month for me and my family. My mom will continue to be inbthe hospital for 2 or 3 more weeks. I am still having my own health issues worked out.

I know there hasn't been ad many articles lately and for that I apologize. I have been trying to keep giving you all updates through the board. More articles are coming. Please continue to keep my mom amd me in your thoughts and prayers.
