Well, the Eagles went out to Dallas and came back home being swept in 3 games.

The Eagle pitching was good enough to win the first 2 games.

Defense was good but some plays were left on the field. If the ball hits in the pocket of your glove, it should be caught.

The middle of the order must step up. Sargent and Lynch must deliver. Too mank K and hitting into double plays.

Gabe must be more selective at leadoff. In his first 4 at bats Sunday, he only saw 7 pitches. He is a leadoff guy and must get on base whenever he can.

It's time for Fischer to start hitting the ball. He got a hit in his last pinch hit. He must hit well for the Eagles to have long-term success.

Poch looked tired Sunday which will affect his offense and defense. It is hard to call him out when he is catching 27 innings in 2 days.

Saturday, DBU pitcher walked 2 straight to load the bases with 2 out. The next batter swung at the first pitch. You have to make him work on the mound and not make it easy for him.

Alabama tomorrow. Hall needs another good outing, if he doesn't pitch, then they moved him to the weekend to start CUSA play.

DBU is a really good baseball team. They don't make mistakes and they made Golden Eagles pitchers work hard all night.

Weekend series hosing FAU. Need to start CUSA play off good.

Well, this is just interesting.

Probably was the best player on the team even with the off-court issues.

There was a little bit of upset action in the Sunbelt tournament as Georgia State was the #3 seed.

How did they lose to North Alabama?

CUSA allowing UNT to miss their game at RGC cost the Lady Eagles a chance to play their way into a WNIT bid. Another reason to be leaving.

Are the practice sessions closed to the public? If not could someone that attends, please give us some detail? Such as what type of passes does Wilke throw? Soft like Palmer or hard like Favre? How fast is Dean compared to the other backs? Is there a Defensive lineman that seems to be a stalwart? I could go on and on.

It appears to be more information on southermmiss.com than on this board. It is nice to hear Halls passement of the sessions, but we all know what he says sometimes is a bit melodramatic. I subscribe to this board for football information. I could just as easily view SM.com.

Here is one for example and he certainly is not the only one. He has hit over 40% of his 3-point shots for two seasons. Southern Miss just shot 9% at the 3-point line for the game that just ended. This 3-point shot is not a new thing. M.K. Turk embraced it in a big way with good results.

I assumed there was a Saturday practice but I can't confirm. They may have been off.
