If you click on each school, the last 10 years of info pops up. If you go back and look at some of the schools that have left us since the early 2000s, you will notice that in 2005 we were all about even. Then each of these schools starting getting huge increase in the form of student fees and/or school subsidy. Meanwhile, USM did not increase in either area.
You will also notice that our annual contributions (giving to dept) is on par or greater then many of these schools.
My question, is this the bigger reason we have been left behind? That our school failed to show a commitment to giving, while all these others schools increased their giving by millions?!?!
Literally if you look from 2005, schools like Houston, ECU, Memphis, UCF, Cincy, ect have increased in these two areas (UCF huge increase in rights/licensing).
Second question, will we increase in school subsidy? Which seems to be the easiest way to increase budget.
