And they say it's all about TV viewership...

http://www.sportsmediawatch.com/college-football-tv-ratings/

You have to look at the number of viewers as some don't show the share percentage.

So how did we do with viewers for our bowl game? Well better than Memphis/Auburn - guessing all the viewers for Memphis were at the game and the rest of the big Memphis market didn't care. Better than some of games that also involved those big TV markets. Maybe some one that understands this better than I can explain how we do better with the TV audience than big city teams. Also, if you look at the Washington/Washington State game you'll see that it must be Southern Miss viewers as that game had less viewership. Just saying that maybe it wasn't Washington alone bringing the interest in the game.

Lessons to learn

#1 If you are watching the LaTech-ODU game just look at their arena. Do not disparage any program we have brought into CUSA. Just give them time.

#2 Until we get the NCAA problem behind us, do not criticize our coach's recruiting. Until we can upgrade the Yurt, if nothing else but get a decent scoreboard, do not criticize our coach for the results of recruiting without cheating.

#3 (I'll lose some here) Doc can coach. Given time and (see above), a leval playing field to recruit, this point will be proven.

Fire away.

Lanny, let me know if this isn't okay...

So, my wife and I had our house renovated by our best friends and hosts of upcoming pilot episode of "Home Town" on HGTV. The show will be completely based in Laurel's historic district. This could be great for the area and the state. We all know how the whole tv ratings thing works so we need as many tvs tuned in to better the chances of the show going to series. Please share with friends and family on social media! Click here for all the details.... https://erinandben.co/2206-hgtv-home-town/ and SMTTT!

The show airs Sunday morning, January 24th at 12 est/ 11 cst.

Powerball tickets bought and more

The new GWE basketball arena, football practice field and dozens of endowments of athletic and academic scholarships are just one lucky draw away.

We need transformational investments in our university but we also need several thousand more families to become core supporters--season ticket holders in 1 to 3 or more sports, $500 to $5000 a year in EC dues--positive sales people to carry the USM message further.

Most of us will never be able to be that transformational donor but we all have the opportunity to do a little something extra and to help find new students and supporters of athletics and academics.

If everyone on this board recruited one new student and one new EC member every year for for 10 years we would be the largest university in this State and have the best athletic program in this State.
It's really that simple and it's certainly not hard to do both of those things.

What are we waiting for?

Softball is only a month away guys
