Presser

I'm assuming that today is chase commitments in the phone day / speak with assistant coaches when possible during the time you have left before the Dead Period.

Soooo...He sleeps in tomorrow, talks to more assistants...press conference after lunch?

Lanny, Greenwood, Iron, Tee, or anyone in the know...anyone gotta clue?

Lanny, have you heard anything?

Questions about JHop's former coaching stints

I'm feeling lazy. So without me doing the research could someone fill me in on why he left and on what kind of terms he left his past jobs.

So I guess he was fired from here in 2007 and took a position coach job at Michigan for 2 seasons. Was he successful there? Why did he leave to go to Memphis? And was he successful at Memphis?

Lastly, as we all agree, it took some serious balls to take over at Alcorn. Does anyone have any speculation as to what drove him to do that? Surely he could have found a coordinator job in FBS right? Typically, an FCS job, particularly a swac head coach, is a dead end road.

I'm glad he's here. Just want to learn more about him.

Need to lock down this year's commits quick.

Most twitter chatter has been positive on our commitments staying put but I know there are always a few questions each year. This is just what I heard prior to last night.
Heard Howard is back high on Memphis. Don't know anything on Simmons except Saben came to see him wednesday or Thursday. I suspect JHOP and company have hit the trail hard and am hoping to hear some good stuff on recruits monday.
