It is open to the public. Also scrimmages at 1:30 tomorrow and 2 on Sunday. Will have interviews with coaches and players up as soon as I can get them uploaded.

Does anyone think Brett would take the OC job if offered. He would be fantastic for recruiting and he has a great offensive mind.

State is looking at Steve Spurrier, Jr for outside WR coach. What if we matched his salary to be OC?

Has worked with his father and Mike Leach, so air raid is doable.

Baseball at Southern Miss is special. When the new year rolls around, there is an excitement that starts to build around the Southern Miss fan base. Of course, Golden Eagle Basketball is in full swing and coach Jay Ladner and his staff are working hard to build a year in and year out contender. What basketball is trying to build, is what Coach Scott Berry and the Golden Eagle Baseball program has built following the strong lead of former coaches Hill Denson and Corky Palmer (who led USM to their only NCAACWS appearance).

All are young/aggressive smart players and coaches. Now let's just go full blown young and hire one of these guys and make him and Walden Co-OC's. We got former QB's, WR's, TE's in this group. Roll the dice and create some excitement. Will they stay for more than 2 years is successful, heck no! That is the place USM is in now, and we have to make the best of the bed we have to lay in.
