In preparation for FIU, we need to start practicing with 4 RBs in the backfield. No QB unless you use TQ Newsome in the backfield on occasion as a QB with two guys protecting. I don't know why TQ wasn't moved to QB back when we lost Keyes and Lowe. He was a 3 star QB out of HS. Maybe it was because we were not deep at LB. All I know is if we go into the FIU game with the same vanilla offense as we are running now, we will lose again.

Not to belittle poor Lange, but he has taken us out of at least two games because of errors. I don't think TQ would have made some of those mistakes. It is vital to win the FIU game as an excellent start to next year.

Just saw on Twitter PRCC QB Dustin Allison has committed to USM. The article reads

“Allison just wrapped up his redshirt freshman season at PRCC where he played in just six games in 2021. He struggled a bit with just two touchdowns to eight picks, but the raw talent has always been there for the former Pass Christian Pirate as one of the state’s top five passers when he was a senior on that record-setting 2019 team. He will be in Hattiesburg in January”

Just noticed Greenville Christian WR Christopher Bell just decommitted. My question is WHY would he tag Coach Hall in his decommitment post?


Hate the young man came to this decision and really hope he reconsiders. He could have really made a difference at USM as one one of, if not THE top WR. Anybody have any idea what his reason is for decommitting?
