Ok, so I spoke with Coacb Ladner. It looks like the team got sick up in Montana. They had 3 guys on IV last night before the start of the game and others are sick. That is a big reason for the bad play last night. It was ugly and the coaches and players know it as well.

Hardy will hopefully be back next week. He has a pretty bad shoulder injury.

What the coaching staff did to hold this team together and turn the season around in the last few weeks was just impressive.

Coach Hall had to abandon what he liked to do on offense and change his thought process to get better results. That usually takes a coach a few seasons to learn that. He did it in less than one.

Getting to JUCO and Portal guys in will help this team immensely. A bowl game should be the expectation next season.

Armstrong will be a hot name in the DC ranks. It will be hard to hold on to him if the defense is solid in 2022.

I see where we open with Liberty coming to town and then go to Miami the next week, then Northwestern State and go to Tulane. Does anyone know if we will be moving to the Sunbelt in 2022 or is it still on for 2023?

Heath - We signed 2 late additions to the football team earlier this year - what is the status for the big OT (McKinion) signed from the coast Juco and the LB/DE transfer (McDonald) from Northwestern / Slidell. Any thoughts on how they're viewed by the coaches.

For you guys that are always discussing how quick a good coach can turnaround a basketball program - I give you Iowa State. The program that was 12-20 in 2020, 2-21 in 2021 and now is ranked #19 after beating two ranked teams, Memphis the latest. They are undefeated with their FIRST year head coach.
