We are really terrible in regionals, regardless of our ranking. We never seem to have the pitching to do much beyond 2 and a half games a weekend.

Two blown calls in the 8th inning at first base. The first out there was almost close, the 2nd one wasn't really close enough to be blown that badly. At the very least the 2nd one was safe and should have scored a run an had us tie it up. If both were made perhaps we score 2 and take the lead, who knows.
To be fair, they cost state during out appeal earlier in the game. That actually was a closer call than either of our two in the 8th.
US dropping so many fly balls hurt. The one in the 8th when they took the lead was the worst. Did any of our guys even try for it?
