firstly if we can hit a field goal we are right there. Our offensive game plan early was rediculous. Attack Nebraska where they have given up yards to everyone this season. It's like our staff felt a need to proove a point. It killed us in the first half. Our defense tackles like Jerry's kids. Diving at ankles instead of braking down and following the ball carriers belt buckle. I don't give a crap about big hits. Get the guy down with the first contact. Loved our fight and never giving up , but we are not playing smart. To many penalties. I know it's a work in progress, but some of what I saw was inexcusable. It's one thing to play hard, but better to play smart. Coaches and players.
