I know pulling out a win would be a huge upset. But, this Saturday could certainly line up as a great story. Four years ago, we won 12 games and were the best program in the state. Obviously we all know what happened since then.
We are not on life support yet, but we have to improve this season. What a statement a win this Saturday would make. They were number one in the nation last year. They haven't played in Hattiesburg in twenty five years. They have LSU next week and could be overlooking. Its nine o'clock at night (moon over Hattiesburg) and their fans seem to be kind of blah about this game. They manhandled us last year. In our history we have shown to be tougher than those two up north(spagnolia quote). I have never seen a coach be as positive as Monken has this fall camp. We seem to have great kids. This game is a chance to remind everybody who we are and have always been. I know its a long shot but just maybe!
