There were some here in town that wanted to make the Brett Favre hire by hiring Lance Berkman or Andy Pettite. My feelings are coaches need Division 1 experience, so Rice got that part right. The new coach has a great infrastructure to use and time will tell if he can handle a big time baseball program. For the conference"s sake, I wish him well.
