would be pushing a jock basket in a sane program. Parker has upside and we have other under-utilized more reliable receivers. Jones seems too dainty. Saw Parker shuck a rusher in the pocket who would have destroyed Nick. Hope Parker is good to go and our dipshit coaches start him. A decent QB can make up for lots of deficits.

Nick has been off for most of the season. I don't know what it is, could be anything, but bottom line, he can't throw like he used to.

Mullens is a system Qb. Not a knock on him, just a fact. Chip Lindsey offense fit him perfectly. The Swac guy can say they did not change the offense all he wants. They did change it, the play on the field shows it. Jones will be a good #2 wr next year. Once he learns the playbook, gets better at route running, he will be fine. Staggers, while still green, is the best wr on the team and grossly under utilized.

What is really painful is there are 2 instant starters playing at Hattiesburg High, 1 a sr, the other a jr, and the coaches basically have ignored them, then again, not surprising since there is a 1st rd draft pick and a high end d-1 baseball player, both jrs at HHS and neither have heard a peep from USM coaches since May.

This was a 10 win team handed over on a silver platter. The players were in place, the systems on both sides of the ball were in place, just go with what got them to the dance last year. Instead, they have gone square peg, round hole.

9-5 last season but defiantly know what you are saying. Those 5th year transfers we had on defense last season was a big difference along with Shut down cornerback Kalen Reed. Mix that in with 2 players we had on offense that are in the NFL and a Head Coach this is now an offensive coordinator in the NFL! It was a momentum switch overnight.

The OC and RB coach were not SWAC so not sure put blame offensive coaching experience except it is the RB coach never coached offense. Hop just wanted his SWAC guys coaching the defense and did not want to cut a Southern Miss guy loose. The offense inspite too many dropped balls turnovers and penities has not played that bad. The D keeps putting them in a bad spot. They have to start too many drive inside the 20 and have to play catch up. They scored more points in the first half against LSU than Bama scored against them

Who is the 1st round draft pick?

Gray is the real deal Holifield in baseball! He's already committed to LSU in baseball but will be a 1St round draft choice in MLB.
