Do you all remember great linemen from the 90s like O'Lester Pope, Frank Firestone(I think both were on the OL) and the DL like Ced Scott, Jeff Posey, Tyrone Nix, etc?The battle is won in the trenches...
Yep. remember them all. Looks like both lines will be substantially improved this year. Can't wait to see them on the field. The best thing is that as the year goes on the team should just be getting better and better because of the transfers getting experience in the system.Do you all remember great linemen from the 90s like O'Lester Pope, Frank Firestone(I think both were on the OL) and the DL like Ced Scott, Jeff Posey, Tyrone Nix, etc?
Per the Hattiesburg American, Bolton was supposed to start at DT for Kansas this year. He wanted to be closer to home. The OK DT, Quincy Russell was 6 '3" and 311 lbs coming out of JC. Rated a 3 star and had offers from OK, Nebraska, TCU and others.
The Kansas DT, Andrew is 6'3" 290 lbs and was a 3 star out of JC and had offers from LSU, Kansas, Ms State and others.
Not sure how many years either has left, one or two? Very glad to have both aboard. Our defense is looking very deep this year, and big too. SMTTT
