I am starting to get the feeling that it will be hard to hold onto him. I can't remember a time when there were so many college football coaching vacancies. There is going to be some crazy movement this season in terms of coaching changes. With Minnesota's Kill announcing his retirement this morning there are currently vacancies at Illinois, Minn,Maryland,Miami,UCF,USC. I expect Purdue, Iowa State, to be open at seasons end. I hope that Mr. McGillis is working feverishly to get Monken a new contract together with better pay and the biggest buyout he is willing to accept. I think we will be favored to win it all next season. Hope we can keep him here along with the renewed energy and great recruiting that is going on. It would be a huge blow to the program to lose him now. Not trying to start anything, but these are legit things to think about and prepare for.
