played closer to the D we have come to expect at USM. I am not at all worried about Ito or Allenzae as they will be stars given the ebb and flow of the season. I am concerned with our line play. I did NOT notice UK stacking 8 and 9 in the box like some did.We just couldn't run block, and the snaps were all over the place....we need some help there. And, I hope the punt teams improve soon.
I think Southern U. is a good second game for us. It's a game we should win, but not an "Austin Peay" type pushover. They have huge players, they are well coached, and they will be fired up....this is a very emotional game for them. If we look past them, we get beat. Finally, I feel good about Griggs. He made plays, and that's all you can ask given the situation he was in.
