he only played one play, Jack is out-manned, but offense has to have a spark if we are to stay in it....we need a qb that can run.....which really neither is a runner...

Griggs would have to be a very good runner, Very good, to warrant taking Jack out. He is not. Better than Jack, but not good enough to make a difference, so add in his passing and a +1 and a -1 = no gain.

Playing Griggs is our only chance to be competitive. He is twice the QB that JA is. As I said before, JA's arm is too weak. He will get int'd when he throws down field (and he did, the ONLY time he has thrown down field today). He has thrown 17 passes and only one was over 10 yards. Fourteen (14) have been 2 yards or less, one was a 5 yard slant and one was a 10 yard loft. We have zero options with JA in the game and Auburn knows this. So does our staff. We NEED to play Griggs.
