Going to be a long day.

Well, I said this game will tell us where we are. We are being dominated in the trenches on both sides of the ball. Couple that with piss poor tackling, bad angles and no discipline on defense spells for a long day. Our offensive line is being DOMINATED by a four man rush. Hell, Nebraska could rush three and still get in the backfield. Minus the one sack, their QB has all day to throw. We don't have the horses to compete against these type teams. We just simply don't have the horses. I expect us to come out in the second half in the spread throwing quick passes, screens and misdirection. Ots our only chance to stay in it without losing by 5 TDs. Here's to hoping our QB makes it through the game.

About the only positive so far is that our defense held them to 5 field goals and only one touchdown. If they had put all of them into the end zone the score would be 42-0 at the half. Under the circumstances the defense is playing reasonably well. When your offense doesn't put any points on the board it's difficult to stay motivated. I hope the offense can do something in the 2nd half to keep the game respectable.

I know it wouldn't make a difference, but I'm kind of surprised that Justice Hayes hasn't seen the field the today. Being a former Michigan player, I imagine he had this game circled on his calendar and wanted to have a big game. I imagine his motivation would have been there. Unlike the previous three games, it doesn't seem like Monken wants him to have any reps.

No they are not. Nebraska only beat us by 8. USM only played on good half of football today. Four quarters of good offensive football and who knows what the score would have been. Moral victories don't go in the record books but this team has no quit in them. We have a lot to be proud of and a lot to look forward too.

states better than neb. and we could have flipped a play this game or 2-3 plays in msu game and won them both. stupid play calling this game and penalties killing us as always. kicker needs to be fixed
