Whoever is coaching special teams, I don't recall a kickoff return past the 25-yard line, and if there was one, we most likely got a penalty on it. The same scenario applies to punt returns. In contrast, opponents can move the ball in these situations.
Field goals are their own adventure, and extra-point tries are scary. Punts are usually okay, and I can't recall but one being blocked.
