What a dumpster fire....remember they had 2-20 John Thompson, fired him, Ruffin McNeil, fired him, and now they're even WORSE in the AAC. Wish them them the best though.

East Carolina used to be a dang good football program. They were so similar to Southern Miss in the past.
Indeed they were. East Carolina was to Miami what USM was to Bama. I was one of a handful of fans back in 2000 at The Rock for the Black Friday game that ECU won 14-9. USM defeated ECU on a PI call in 1986...The Mud Bowl of 1983...The 1999 game USM destroying a ranked ECU after they destroyed #9 Miami. The 2001/02 game at The Rock where someone hung a "Punt Bower" sign from the West Side upper deck. Bower wasn't punted, but Steve Logan was after USM beat them. The list goes on. One thing ECU could do was attract fans. 50k plus. It was always fun watching them smash ACC and Big East schools.
Remember Coach Steve Logan of East Carolina calling that long fake fg late in the game at the Rock in 1995 and USM got called for pass interference to set up their gane winning kick!
