Eagles travel to FIU for final series of the regular season

Southern Miss(36-15, 20-7) leads CUSA by a half game over Rice, 1.0 game over Marshall and 1.5 games over Florida Atlantic heading into the final series.
FIU(25-27, 12-15) is currently sitting in 7th place and has all but locked up a spot in the CUSA tournament. They have a two game lead over WKU and UAB and own the tiebreaker over both teams.

Miami Weather: Forecast for the three game series doesn't look promising. We could see a doubleheader on Friday with rain chances of 60% Thursday, 00% Friday and 80% Saturday.

Marshall leading ODU 3-2 halfway through game one of that series. ODU took an early 2-0 lead on a two-run homer in the second, but Marshall answered with a 3-run bomb in the 4th to take the lead.

ODU tied it up 3-3 with a run in the 6th, but Marshall scores single runs in the 8th and 9th to take game one 5-3. Marshall pulls to within a half game of first place.
