Ok, just bored and no meeting to attend so wondering out loud..
Just thinking about the head coaches which have departed from Southern Miss for a "better" situation and their ultimate fate.
Bobby Collins - death penalty
Hallman - died as a head coach at LSU
Fedora - so far the only success story but time will tell
D.T. - death by the NCAA at UT
Wonder if any of the above regret leaving Southern Miss (doubt that Fedora does). The others career as a college head coach ended after they left USM. Bobby Collins could have taken USM farther than anyone in my opinion. D.T. could have been the difference maker that put USM on the basketball map. Obviously we'll never know but it makes me wonder what those coaches would do looking back.
I think that Bobby Collins could have built a dynasty at Southern Miss.
