Bar/restaurant walking distance to Reed Green?

Sorry if this post should go somewhere else, but are there any bars or restaurants walking distance to Reed Green Coliseum? Looking for a place to have a few drinks before the South Alabama game Wednesday night.

That is a tough one. There is not really anything close to Reed Green. Strick's BBQ is fairly close but still a bit of a walk plus you would have to walk accross 38th.

The Powerhouse on campus might be your best bet but sometime they have weird hours. I have tried to eat there before and they were closed when I thought they would be open. I do not remember if they serve beer though.

It is a bit of a walk from Hardy Street but Izzo's is not bad.

Doesn't Conastoga have a bar. I know they have food.

Conastoga has been closed for over a year!!! A good local pub with food close to campus is The Endzone which was established around 1977 and and has very good Southern Miss Golden Eagle support! 2505 West 4th Street Hattiesburg, MS and is less than a mile from Reed Green Coliseum.

End Zone (3 blocks) is a good dive for pool, foosball, good jukebox. Mahogany Bar at Crescent City Grill (8 blocks) good food, good bar, nice atmosphere. Mugshots (9 blocks) for burgers, beer, sports viewing.

Now the end zone brings back some memories. It was across from the little league park at Kamper Park when I went to school. Seems like Ray Guy had some ownership role back then.

I tried Marlin Grill twice and didn't not care for it. Just my opinion. The food was a little pricey for the quality of food I received.
