Apparently folks are upset about ticketing...

Amen. I sure hope the university uses this as a season ticket push for other sports as well. PTP actually holds more than almost all other college ball parks. Again I will always remember the 2003 Baylor Sunday crowd. The campus is normally almost abondoned on that day, but it was like a football game.

I heard some state fan radio announcer say it was wrong of us but we couldn't help it because our stadium was so small. Screw that. It sounded very much like "it's just USM."

While we may have the 4th largest of the host sites this year, MSU fans will complain that its because our stadium is smaller because they hold the record for largest on-campus crowd for a college baseball game at over 15,000. They hold the record for like the 10 largest on campus baseball crowds ever. And they are used to playing in 8,000+ seat stadiums.

Can you imagine if our stadium could hold 8,000+ and we sold that out this weekend? Wasn't the expansion with the suites after the 2003 season when we hosted? I was under the impression that the excitement from that season is why we added them. Maybe this will get us further expansion.

We could have 8,000 to 10,000 stadium capacity and the State bunch would gripe! Ole Miss bunch been mighty quite this week!

I like the concrete general admission area but we could easily put more actual seats on top of that area. I wonder if we built that section with the future in mind. It kind of looks like the foundation for more seating.
