noticed Swain was absent, plus Truly and Foster, which was huge for us yesterday. I did see CJ Perry listed for the first time this season, though I may have overlooked him. It is good to see Sangster get meaningful minutes. I didn't see Michael Smith make much of a difference, but afterward I read where he made 1 solo tackle and 1 assist. I expected more from him this year. Thigpen looks like a star in the making. And Yancey too.
Anyway, Nelson played his guts out, so kudos to him, but not playing our top 2 free safeties and Swain at Linebacker really hurt us depth wise. I hope all 3 will play next week and going forward. We have a chance to win 7 this year, even 8 seems possible, but we'll need to get/stay healthy.

Once again we had several players not on the field. You are right in that it is a mixed bag with some playing above what might have been expected and some not where we might have hoped. Mostly I'm very pleased with the play, especially when I look at players like Thigpen. Hopefully we will have Swain and Foster back next game. We really need Foster bad. One note, our top safety and maybe best defensive player is Antoine. Don't forget him.

Oh yes, Antoine is our best player on defense, and maybe the best player on the team. Foster will make our tandem at safety much better. And I have to believe Truly will improve some, but he isn't quite ready.

We have several dinged up, losing Freeman hurt the D-Line as well, and Ruff was limited against Neb. WR Richard still has not made his 2015 debut yet. So, along with all those already mentioned, there are many that would have helped that did not play.

SMTTT!

I didn't see Truly or Foster on the Munz tweet of the depth chart released today. It list Nelson and Davis as the two deep. Swain was not listed at all on the depth chart. No word why that I have read.
